Founded in 2006 in Western Carneros, Anaba Wines embodies Proprietor John Sweazey’s commitment to high-end Burgundian and Rhône varietal wines from some of Sonoma County's best vineyards. Anaba Wines takes its name from the cooling anabatic gusts, which flow through the property and surrounding regions, giving the wines their signature minerality and vibrancy. In addition, every aspect of Anaba’s winery and farming is highly sustainable. In 2009, we became the first Northern California winery to utilize wind power, and with the addition of solar panels, Anaba today uses 100% renewable energy.
